Misleading? Most Likely

If I was to believe all that I see online, I would be led to believe that every single person is wealthy, travelling, in banging shape and flying around in super cars and jets.

Am I living my life wrong?

What wrong choices did I make along the way?

That is how I am left thinking, that I am some fool that actually has to wake up to an alarm Monday to Friday and sometimes on weekends as well.

And yet there are still so many people in full time employment. Probably more in this period of human history than any other point. The problem is that a generation of people can hijack your attention via your phone and show you a perceived reality that their lives are great. They leave you thinking why the hell isn't yours?

I saw a rather ridiculous man online who was bragging about his McLaren and how he could easily come along and steal "your gal". This same moron even had the courage to claim that life doesn't start until you start making close to £30k a month. Said same moron also argued that exercise is cope and it is a waste of time.

The big issue with so many of these "influencers'  and the "get rich quickers" is the fact that they believe that simply due to the fact they have an audience and some form of success that what they say is gospel.

Being great at something does not matter anymore if you cannot market yourself correctly.

In boxing we have world class pfp fighters which won't even make close to what Jake Paul and Tommy Fury made for their circus show.

Good marketing paves over the cracks of mediocre performance. Charisma and image are what makes value, or at least perceived value.
